Аннотация: This article reveals the influence of historical traditions and events on the formation of public legal consciousness of the Ukrainian people. The genesis of institutional and non-institutional forms of legal consciousness in Ukraine in different historical periods is traced. In particular, the characteristic features of public legal consciousness during the times of Kievan Rus, the Lithuanian-Polish era and the Russian Empire were identified. The peculiarities of the development of customary law as a basis for non-institutional legal consciousness of Ukrainians are revealed. It is noted that the customary legal situation in Ukraine is geographically and chronologically heterogeneous. However, despite all the differences in the historical development of Volyn, Polissya, Podillya, Dnieper, Slobozhanshchina, Southern Ukraine, customary property relations are identical in basic respects.

Аннотация: The article analyzes the specifics of modern conspiracy thinking as a recognized object of humanitarian research. The authors traced the dynamics of the multi-aspect study of conspiracy theories against the background of the strengthening of conspiracy narrative in unstable ontologies. It is emphasized that periods of crisis actualize the conspiracy discourse with its paradoxical combination of rationalistic and affective-irrational thinking patterns. The factors contributing to the construction of a conspiracy narrative are considered. The social and personal-mental dimensions of conspiracy thinking are shown and substantiated. The characterology of conspiracy thinking is compared with the radical-constructivist and communicative-narrative logic of explaining the world. The difference between a conspiracy narrative and a political imaginary, as well as its connection with various forms of agency is shown.

Аннотация: Google Trends is a popular computational linguistics tool designed to determine and analyze the range of public interests, taking into account the linguistic features of the formation of Internet queries. In this paper, it is proposed to use the Google Trends service to determine the risks of cooperative ties between industrial enterprises of the Kharkiv and Zaporizhia regions, which are already leaders in industry clustering in Ukraine. The information base of the study was the groups of enterprises, which were determined by the analysis of the hierarchy of cooperation relations. An analysis of the names of enterprises in the group using Google Trends made it possible to determine the demand for their products by region, which made it possible to assess the state of their promising cooperation. In this aspect, a list of clustering risks is defined, a relative assessment of indicators according to the linguistic features of the formation of scales including. The work carried out an experiment with Kharkіv enterprises, which made it possible to make a decision on cooperation with certain institutions, taking into account the processing of qualitative indicators by using linguistic information. Thus, the scientific novelty of the paper is the technology of processing quality information with widespread use of methods of using linguistic information, which is important for the formation of prerequisites for decision-making in economics was developed by the authors.

Аннотация: The aim of the study is to determine the main indicators of social instability and forms of its manifestation in the modern world. The elements of scientific novelty of this work are that the article comprehensively analyzes the main signs of social instability in global and regional contexts, shows their essential relationship. The research methodology is based on a complex combination of philosophical (dialectical, axiological) and general scientific methods of studying the problem of social instability in the modern world, including synergetic, comparative and concretization methods. Social turbulence has resulted from intensifying geopolitical confrontations and “economic wars” between the world’s leading countries, including the United States and China.

Аннотация: This chapter reports on the past and most recent historical context of violence and the presence of intimate partner violence (IPV) in Ukraine. While research is just beginning to identify the effects of IPV on Ukrainian women and children, a number of cultural and demographic factors that place women and children at greater risk are identified. These include elements of Ukrainian culture, as well family, religious, and social values that sustain domestic violence. There is a further discussion of cultural and contextual issues that need to be addressed when considering programs for women and children exposed to IPV. The chapter ends with suggestions for strategies to overcome barriers to change in Ukraine

Аннотация: Objective: To assess the prevalence of intimate-partner violence (IPV) in a sample of Ukrainian mothers of schoolchildren, and to examine the relationship between IPV and family, parent, and child characteristics using multilevel models. Method: Mothers of children ages 9-16 (N = 278, 93.5% Ukrainians) answered the Revised Conflict Tactics Scale (CTS2; Straus, 1979; Straus, Hamby, Boney-McCoy, and Sugarman, 1996), an instrument that measures IPV. We also examined the relationship between IPV and maternal age, education, employment and marital status, family income, and rural or urban residence. Results: Most of the women (81%) reported psychological violence and 58% reported physical assault. On average, women reported 66 instances of IPV during the last year. Multilevel modeling revealed that lower maternal education, unemployment, not living with the husband or partner, and urban residency were associated with higher IPV victimization. Younger age and family income were not significantly related to IPV. Conclusion: We found IPV to be a significant social problem in the present sample of Ukrainian mothers of school-age children. Future policy and violence-prevention programming should focus on supporting academic and employment opportunities for women, particularly for those living in urban areas.
