Аннотация: Description: The aim of the article is to study theoretical and applied problems of the fight against organized ethnic crime. The Subject of Study. The subject of research is theoretical and applied problems of the fight against organized ethnic crime. Methodology. Taking into account the specifics of the topic, purpose and objectives of the study, the following methods are used: dialectical method; the method of analysis and synthesis; system and structural method; formal method; dogmatic method; sociological method. Results of the Study. The current state of ethnic crime in Ukraine is analyzed. The structure of modern and outdated organized criminal groups is investigated. The peculiarities of combating the manifestations of ethnic crime in the territory of Ukraine are examined. Practical Implications. The most common problems, both in the context of procedural consolidation and in proving guilt in proceedings involving ethnic groups are identified. Value/Originality. The value of this scientific research is that law enforcement agencies that deal with organized groups and criminal organizations that are formed on an ethnic basis, have an opportunity to get a comprehensive picture of this negative phenomenon

Аннотация: The important topic of cybersecurity relative to the fight against corruption in the context of global challenges in the pandemic and post-pandemic world requires further research. The purpose of this article is to identify and analyze current and prospective cybersecurity issues in this context by applying general-scientific and special-legal methods of cogni-tion. Using the dialectical method, theoretical background, and contempo-rary views on ensuring cybersecurity served to investigate the key current challenges. Formal-legal and comparative methods allowed to recommend measures to enhance cybersecurity in view of the massive digitalization and social transformations. The authors emphasize the need to establish a national cybersecurity policy based on society’s information literacy and culture, combining respect to traditional and historical values with a mod-ern understanding of multicultural communication and well-being.

Аннотация: The main purpose of this article is to hold an independent study of some international regulatory initiatives concerning the mechanism of assessment of the risk of committing new offences and the main area of up-to-date legal regulation of classification of convicts and assessment of the risk of committing new offences by convicts in Ukraine. The chosen research subject involved the application of the comparative law approach as the main method, combined with a number of general scientific (dialectical, historical, systemic, statistical) and specific scientific (formal law, specific sociological) cognition methods. The conclusion drawn by the author allowed to form a conceptual understanding of the assessment of the risks of committing new offences as a determinant of the classification of convicts. A brief overview of the implementation and evolution of this regulation obviously demonstrates that Ukraine tries to look up to borrowed progressive approaches to the work with convicts and, in particular, it introduces a system of assessment of risk and needs of convicts using automated conclusion algorithms to reduce recidivism and new crimes. The relevant legal mechanisms proposed by scientists can be implemented in the legislation of Ukraine regulating the procedure of assessment of the risks of committing new offences by convicts.
