Аннотация: The research studied the effectiveness of the digital passion project activity for developing oral presentation skills of undergraduate students learning English as a foreign language in online education in emergencies. Considering the basic intervention principles suggested by psychologists for students affected by disasters and mass violence circumstances, the researchers conducted a quasi-experiment exploiting the recognized potential of the passion project to build a positive emotional environment and encourage more efficient learning. The findings revealed that experimental group students outperformed control group students in the four out of five aspects of the rubric applied (content, coherence and cohesion, vocabulary richness and adequacy, and grammatical correctness). The results can be attributed to the observed increased creativity, inquisitiveness, engagement in learning, and self-efficacy as well as to the project marketplace method applied at the initial stage. The passionate involvement in the project was proved by the survey administered to check student’s level of passion during the work on the passion project.

Аннотация: The conditions that have developed in the educational sphere since the beginning of the Russian military aggression in Ukraine have significantly complicated the implementation of the educational process, the establishment of professional communication – from contacts with the immediate environment to global and intercultural ties. The stress burden experienced by both teachers and students includes the forced relocation of participants of the educational process to other regions, the participation of teachers and students in hostilities, territorial defence units and volunteer movements, the loss of relatives and friends, etc. In such conditions, teachers in higher educational institutions should react quickly and take corrective measures in order to restore professional and pedagogical communication. The purpose of the academic paper is to characterize, clarify the advantages, disadvantages and determine the features of certain types of online communication of higher educational institutions with students in modern conditions. In the course of the present research, a number of general and special methods of analysis of scientific sources were applied, as well as an online survey was used to study the standpoint of participants of the educational process, namely, students and teachers of higher educational institutions, regarding the features of online communication of higher education institutions with students in current conditions. Based on the results of the research, the main characteristics of the communication processes taking place in the online mode in higher education were studied, and the standpoint of the participants of the educational process regarding the priority components of the organization of the educational online system was clarified.

Аннотация: This study is a scientific justification for the hypothesis stating that the humanization of education contributes to developing a student’s personality as a subject of educational activity and helps master knowledge and skills that boost the development of professional skills. The study includes 300 cadets from the Ivan Kozhedub Kharkiv National Air Force University in their 1-4 years of study. The study determines the main pedagogical support components of professional and personal self-development of military students. In the survey, 86.6% of military students positively assessed their professional and personal self-development, although senior students (46.8%) demonstrated less interest in this regard. The study reveals that modern higher education needs further humanization so that future specialists endorse and share humanistic values; the humanization of training at the military university results in positive changes in all criteria of professional and personal self-development of military students. It is necessary to provide three stages in the integral process of professional training: the motivation and value-oriented stage; the cognitive and activity stage; the reflexive and transformative stage

Аннотация: Online education is a world need. Many universities continue providing online education. The first stress from pandemic and online teaching went on and university teachers managed to cope it. The next stress from wartime in Ukraine came and online teaching goes on, so university teachers manage to cope it again. The purpose of the research is to show university teachers’ psychological state during online education after pandemic in wartime in Ukraine. For achieving the stated purpose, we applied the methods of analysis and synthesis, questionnaire, calculating methods, in particular, MS Excel. The questionnaire consisted of questions help to describe the psychological teachers state, fear, stress, anxiety. The participants of the research became 49 university teachers from Ukraine. The results are as follows. The most common negative impacts on mental health are depression, isolation, family danger, possibility of being attacked, pressure from the war, lack of social life. The most constructive impacts on mental health are morale, social media, chatting, good war news. It is recommended to use different resources to overcome university teachers’ stress. They are faith, feelings, socialization, imagination, thinking, physiological activity. The conclusion is online education after pandemic in Ukraine is still stressful because of wartime. It is recommended to use different resources to overcome university teachers’ stress.

Аннотация: The influence of the kettlebell lifting training on the level of endurance development and functional abilities of the cadets' cardiovascular system in the course of study is examined in the article. Cadets of the 1st-5th years of study (n=474) who were studying according to the current system of physical training (group А, n=416) and cadets who were attending a kettlebell lifting class (group B, n=58) took part in the research. The study of the level of endurance development was conducted during the following tests: 3 km race, 5 km accelerated march, and the obstacle course (400 m). The cardiovascular system functioning was examined concerning these indicators: heart rate, arterial blood pressure, Robinson's index, and heart rate recovery from a standard load. Аннотация: The present academic paper is devoted to studying the degree of development of individual components of future economists' professional competence in the digital environment of higher educational institutions. In the course of the research, the level of effectiveness of digitalization of higher educational institutions was studied. To assess the actual competence level of future specialists in the field of economics, a questionnaire survey of students - future economists in Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, and France was conducted. Based on the analysis of the results, the qualifications of students - future economists were assessed, considering the features of labour markets in different countries. According to the research data, it has been established that apparent differences in the degree of digitization of higher education institutions can be observed in various countries, which affects the competence of future specialists. The difference in the degree of development of digital technologies in higher educational institutions causes the formation of a significant gap in the level of professionalism in general and digital competence, in particular, among students of economic specialties. To carry out a highly-effective professional activity, an economist should possess relevant technical, digital, competency-based, and mathematical skills. The survey has revealed that the lack of critical thinking skills in the Czech Republic and Germany and active self-study among students - future economists is especially acute. According to the results of the survey, it has been established that the main reason for the lack of this type of skills is the insufficient number of academic hours allocated during the educational process for their formation, forasmuch as in the conditions of the digitalization of higher education, the time frame of training is limited. Along with this, a lack of development of social and communication skills that develop the professional competence of economists is observed in the Czech Republic, France and Germany.

Аннотация: The most used in today's methods of expert assessments (questionnaires, surveys, brainstorming) have a number of underestimations, the main of which is that the consistency and logic of expert statements are not determined. To solve this problem field, a computer program has been created for collecting, saving, quantitative comparison and operational processing of the results obtained through a collective expert evaluation. The article describes the mathematical algorithm of this program. As a base of the program, due to the combination of elements of the Delphi expert survey and the method of modern theory of hierarchical systems T. Saati, the procedure of synthesis of priorities is taken, which is calculated on the basis of subjective expert estimation. The priority or weighting factor is determined on the basis of the individual judgment pair comparison principle of the expert on the priority (the degree of advantage, weight) of one component of a particular process over another. In this work, the method of simple iteration is used. The created program establishes the judgments coherence and logic degree of each of the experts. That is, by way of the estimation pair comparison of the individual expert it is not permissible to violate the coherence and logic of his estimations. A dual comparison excludes the possibility of "blind" use of an uncoordinated and illogical evaluation, requires its refinement or ignores the use of such an assessment. With the help of convenient and easy to use author's computer program, scientists were able to quickly obtain quantitative units of weighting factors of the studied components of a particular process. This allows to display all the results of an interdependent collective, logical and coordinated individual expert estimation.

Аннотация: Inclusive social security aims to provide fair and equitable social protection for all people, regardless of their personal characteristics and health status. This is achieved by developing educational policies and information programs that consider citizens' diverse needs and realities, ensuring their active participation in society and supporting their well-being. Recently, society has been paying much attention to the problems of this category of citizens. This interest is dictated, first, by the fact that today, in Ukraine, there is a tendency to increase the number of persons with disabilities, which is directly caused by the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine. This research article aims to study the inclusive social security field in Ukraine, determine the role of the state and the public sector, and identify prospects for improving this area. The methodology for studying the role of the state and the public sector in inclusive social security uses various methods: dialectical, systemic, systemic-structural, functional, logical, and interpretation of legal norms. These methods help to understand and improve social security for a more inclusive information society.

Аннотация: Preparing students for professional activity, self-fulfillment in life and confident career advancement poses a challenge for the teacher of a higher educational institution (HEI). Interactive teaching strategies and involving students in every aspect of the curriculum are crucial in resolving this issue. The purpose of the research is to characterize the role and influence of interactive learning on students’ academic achievements. The research methods: theoretical (analysis, synthesis, generalization), empirical (experiment, observation, description), generalization. The research is based on the characterization of interactive methods and forms of work, their implementation in the educational process, use in online learning, role and impact on students’ performance and academic achievements. Some issues of applying interactive learning have been verified through a short-term experiment. It has been revealed that the issue of the influence of interactive learning on students’ academic achievements was studied insufficiently in pedagogical circles and requires more thorough scientific studies. The research results confirm that using interactive learning methods and techniques greatly facilitates the creation of communicative relationships in the group and with the teacher. They help maintain a positive atmosphere, and in combination with a high level of professional motivation to learn, contribute to the professional growth of students, the effective accumulation and use of knowledge and skills. The academic paper proves that interactive forms of cooperation with students play a significant role in the success of the latter, influencing the effectiveness of achieving educational goals. The application of interactivity is not possible without considering particular rules: establishing the relevance and feasibility of using interactive techniques in a particular target audience (professional orientation, age characteristics of students), readiness to use these techniques, high level of motivation to work with interactive techniques, etc. Interpretation of the results of the conducted observational experiment-study shows the effectiveness of the application of interactive learning methods in practice.

Аннотация: Turbulent world events require crisis-sensitive education models that can address new challenges and promote productive learning in extraordinary times. The research aimed to analyze the issue of teaching a foreign language to undergraduate students using intervention techniques in online and offline modes. The researchers suggested the following responsive and adaptive strategies: the creation of adaptive online learning platforms, the development of a multimedia resources bank and the careful selection of innovative teaching tools capable of addressing both psychological and educational needs. The work in groups of both formats was studied through discussion and survey from the point of view of teachers' perceptions of positive and negative features, difficulties revealed in the education in emergencies, and the productivity of using specially designed adaptive teaching techniques for coping with them. The findings show that in most aspects teachers have a more positive assessment of 'live' language teaching in comparison with the online format. They indicate such benefits as more coordinated work, a collaborative and engaging environment, controllability, and greater motivation. The most effective tools used for developing vocabulary, listening skills, reading skills, and speaking skills were revealed. The final testing results in both online and offline groups were analyzed to study the effectiveness of the employed intervention methods. The study demonstrates that the rigorous instructional design is of vital importance for education in an emergency. Special attention should be given to specific adaptive and responsive intervention technologies aimed at interaction and communication enhancement as well as psychological support of students, the choice of which can be determined by the distinctive features of different teaching formats.

Аннотация: The article focuses on the development of the problem-solving method in the history of Pedagogy both in theory and practice. The manuscript purpose is to characterize the history of problem-solving teaching and learning ideas development and instigate and inform their progress and implementation in higher education teaching practice in the second half of the 20th century. The methods used during the research were 1) methods of the theoretical level (analysis, synthesis, generalization) for clarifying the definition of the notion, singling out the shifts in the underlying ideas of the problem-solving method throughout human history, specifying the application of the problem-solving teaching method at universities in the second half of the previous century; 2) methods of historical research (historiographical, chronological, logical-historical, historical-typological) for characterizing the development of problem-solving teaching ideas in historical aspect, and determining their essential manifestations. The research results have revealed that problem-solving teaching and learning is perceived as the process of solving cognitive and practical problems by students stimulating their creative and mental activity and promoting their active participation in learning. The problem-solving teaching method that originated in ancient Greece was based on the ideas of famous historical figures and pedagogical practice of progressive educators and has made a long way in its advancement. The paper novelty lies in presenting the generalization of the problem-solving teaching and learning ideas historic evolution in education, in determining the problem-solving method ideas development stages based on the key elements of the given method, covering the structure of thought processes, stages of cognitive development, the significance of the problem situation in thinking and learning, the impact of problem-solving on one’s intellectual potential, in tracing the problem-solving method use in higher education in the second part of the last century. The great potential of problem-solving teaching method was extensively exploited in higher education training practice. Problem-solving teaching and learning ideas and accumulated pedagogically valuable experience of their implementation in higher education provide a valuable theoretical framework and teaching means for future specialists’ intellectual and professional competence ensuring and raising higher education quality.
У статті розглядається розвиток проблемного методу в історії педагогіки як у теорії, так і на практиці. Метою рукопису є охарактеризувати історію розвитку ідей проблемного викладання та навчання, а також з’ясувати та проаналізувати їх впровадження й використання в практиці викладання у закладах вищої освіти у другій половині XX століття. При проведенні дослідження використано методи: 1) теоретичного рівня (аналіз, синтез, узагальнення) для уточнення визначення поняття, виділення змін в основних ідеях проблемного методу протягом історичного суспільного розвитку, висвітлення застосування методу проблемного навчання в університетах у другій половині минулого століття; 2) методи історичного дослідження (історіографічний, хронологічний, логіко-історичний, історико-типологічний) для характеристики розвитку ідей проблемного навчання в історичному аспекті, визначення їх сутнісних проявів. Результати дослідження виявили, що проблемне навчання сприймається як процес розв’язання студентами пізнавальних і практичних задач, що стимулює їх творчу та розумову діяльність, сприяє активній участі у навчанні. Проблемний метод навчання, що виник в Стародавній Греції, був розроблений на основі наукових розвідок і педагогічної практики відомих історичних діячів і прогресивних педагогів і пройшов довгий шлях у своєму розвитку. Новизна роботи полягає в узагальненні історичної еволюції ідей проблемного викладання та навчання в освіті, запропонованій періодизації їх розвитку на основі ключових положень методу, що охоплюють структуру мисленнєвої діяльності, важливість проблемних ситуацій у процесах мислення і навчання, вплив вирішення навчальних проблем на інтелектуальний розвиток, у висвітленні досвіду впровадження проблемного методу у вищій освіті другої половини ХХ ст. Великий потенціал проблемного методу широко використовується увикладацькій та навчальній практиці вищої освіти. Ідеї проблемного викладання та навчання та накопичений педагогічно цінний досвід їх реалізації у вищій освіті створюють цінну теоретичну базу та засоби навчання для формування інтелектуальної та професійної компетентності майбутніх спеціалістів, що забезпечує та підвищує якість вищої освіти.

Аннотация: The aim of the article was to substantiate the implementation of the visual mind mapping (VMM) strategy for improving the effectiveness of students’ learning in the theoretical and experimental aspect. The focus was the use of VMM to organize learning of students of non-Humanities majors when studying the subjects of the Humanities curriculum, which are mandatory for the undergraduate level. Methods: the following methods were used to collect empirical data and interpret research results: online monitoring through questionnaires in Google Forms; testing with the involvement of the computer programme potential using the EdApp microlearning platform tools; Computer-Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI), classic methods of conducting scientific research and statistical data processing. The prospects of further research include a wider integration of VMM with the involvement of special software and determining its impact on the effectiveness of the students’ education. Аннотация: According to scientists, military-applied sports uniquely embody the fundamental principle of combat training, aiming to instill in servicemen the essential skills required in warfare – a facet not replicated in other forms of physical training. Through training and competitive engagement in military-applied sports (MAS), servicemen not only acquire combat techniques and enhance physical attributes pertinent to military duties but also cultivate moral and volitional qualities such as courage, determination, self-confidence, initiative, and resourcefulness. Purpose: to determine and compare cardiorespiratory parameters of the cadets engaged in military-applied sports and those participating in the current program of sports and general physical fitness, both at rest and under the influence of physical loads. Material and Methods: Objects: 81 healthy cadets of a military educational institution. Two groups of cadets were formed: Control Group (CG1; n=41) consisting of those engaged in military-applied sports (military pentathlon) and Control Group (CG2; n=40) consists of cadets who are trained under the current general physical training program. The cadets of both groups practiced 2 times for 1 hour on weekdays, and 3 hours on weekends and holidays. The age and length of military service of cadets in both groups did not differ significantly (p>0.05). All participants of our study gave their informed consent to participate in the experiment. Research was conducted and performed in accordance with the ethical standards of the Declaration of Helsinki. adaptation.

Аннотация: Introduction: The article presents the results of the study of changes in the level of physical fitness of students of a humanitarian university and military academy cadets based on the choice of the CrossFit program in the process of physical education. Materials and Methods: The young men (n=92), aged 17-18 years, (two experimental and two control groups) took part in the study of the level of physical fitness. The study was conducted for 12 weeks. Experimental groups were engaged in the CrossFit program. The motivation for choosing the CrossFit program by the participants in the experiment (n=48) was determined using a specially designed questionnaire 'The Motives for Participating in Exercises Measure' on the example CrossFit. Results: For cadets, the results of sit-up and push-up have a significant increase (p<0.05). A more significant increase is observed in squats with kettlebell (7kg) and burpee (p<0.01, p<0.001). The results of students in sit-up, push-up, burpee have a significant increase (p<0.05). For participants in the experiment, the most common motives for choosing the CrossFit program for physical education classes were the following: 'to adjust the body shape, make me more courageous and athletic, increase muscle'; 'to increase my activity and vitality'; 'to improve my endurance, performance, reduce fatigue during physical loads'. For students, motives for health promotion are of higher priority than for cadets. Conclusions: The result of the motivated use of the CrossFit program for 12 weeks was a significant improvement in the physical condition of the students and cadets.

Аннотация: The objective of this study is to experimentally test how the technique based on a “21-day Health Marathon” training under the students’ own program of intensive physical self-training being supervised by a personal tutor and stimulated by daily gain-and-loss-framed messages, and elements of gamification (badges for certain achievements) influences the formation of health-improvement competencies for future police officers, their learning motivation, conscious learning and to what extend this technique reformats students’ way of thinking in terms of continuous health-improvement. The 2X2 method of randomized split plots was used to analyze the quantitative data. A two-way ANOVA was used to identify the main results for the factors in the columns and lines, and to determine the degree of their interaction in the context of determining the effectiveness of the experiment. The data obtained in the focus group survey were processed using Textalyser web tool. To process students’ answers to the questions, we identified the most commonly used positive words in the answers that helped us identify broad categories of answers such as: “improvement”, “health”, “motivation”, “speed”, “concentration”, “future work”. The research has shown that the use of this model has a positive impact on the state of development of value-motivational and activity-reflexive components of health-improvement competencies in future police officers, as well as on their awareness of the main direction and model of their future professional activity focused on the formation of personality traits, and not just on obtaining a certain volume of theoretical professional knowledge.
