Ensuring the rights of persons with disability directly indicates the country development level. The purpose of this scientific article is to determine the theoretical and legal norms that directly derive from the legislative acts of national and international law on the protection of labor rights of persons with disabilities. In addition, the analysis of legal approaches of the EU and Member States to the employment of persons with disabilities is also the purpose of this article. The author analyzes Ukrainian legislation in this area and identifies legal and practical shortcomings, providing his own recommendations for their improvement. Moreover, the article analyzes European approaches to solving the relevant issue; substantiates the opinion that the approaches of other European countries are more advanced than Ukrainian ones.
