Аннотация: Mass illegal felling of trees in Ukraine’s Carpathians is one of the most crucial and dangerous modern ecological issues raised by the author of this article. The scale of tree felling has been estimated according to official government sources as well as international nongovernmental organizations; there has also been studied the fact of minimizing the magnitude of the problem by central state bodies. The correlation between the increase of illegal lumbering and the growth of illegal employment among population in Zakarpattia region was established. Specific propositions have been presented with respect to this problem at many levels, including legislative, organizational and legal, as well as international.

Аннотация: The aim of the study is a comprehensive analysis of the legislation on the fight against illegal employment both at the supranational level of the European Union and at the EU Member States level, inter alia, in Poland, France, and Germany. The leading method in the study was the comparative-legal method. It helped to com-pare the peculiarities of the practice of European countries in the field of combating illegal employment in the EU Member States, as well as to identify how this issue is regulated. The results demonstrate that illegal employment destroys legal jobs, leads to the increase in unemployment and deprives the state of revenues such as tax and social contributions, etc. That is why international declarations and conven-tions should guarantee the right to work in the European Union for the citizens of non-European states.

Аннотация: The article aims to identify the types of transgression in courtroom discourse. The study was carried out using discourse analysis as the main method. According to the mode of expression, the explicit type of transgression and the implicit type were determined. Forms of verbal expression of transgression are words and phrases with negative emotional coloring, and the use of contextual and conceptual antonyms. In cases of implicitly represented transgression, the true interpretations of the speakers are expressed by means of Aesopian language allegories. It is proven that the use of transgression ensures the success of the speech’s impact. The influence effect of transgression in courtroom discourse increases under the following conditions: frequent use; use of accusation and refutation strategies; emotionally charged vocabulary; piling up in narrative details, even inventing; and the construction of speeches on the principle of increasing transgression.

Аннотация: The status of Ukraine as a candidate country for the European Union membership reinforces the need for comparative analysis between Ukrainian regulations and law of other EU Member States as well as European regulations. One ofthe fields of comparative law is a development of mediation for disputes covered by administrative law. It has already been a subject of interest and promotion to both - The EU and the Council of Europe, since European standards of democracy provide for state cooperate with citizens individuals. The aim of this article is, to examine the main provisions, recommendations and best practices of the CoE member states, and to analyse the current practice and existing gaps in Ukraine in order to develop a proposal for effective implementation in the light of the most recent CEPEJ Guidelines promoting mediation to resolve administrative disputes. A comparative overview of this type of mediation regulations may be considered as novum. As for methodology, the paper is dominated by the logical-linguistic and comparative method. So far-though Ukrainian legal system is quite compatibile with the examined CEPEJ gudelines and provide for inter-branch solutions - the development of administrative and court-administrative mediation is quite resilient and there is still much to be done not solely with legal regulations, but also.mediation culture'' in such field.
