Аннотация: The study presents the word translation into vectors of real numbers (word embeddings), one of the most important topics in natural language processing. Word2vec is the latest techniques developed by Tomas Mikolov to study high quality vectors. The majority of studies on clustering the word vectors were made in English. Dmitry Chaplinsky has already counted and published vectors for the Ukrainian language by using LexVec, Word2vec and GloVe techniques, obtained from fiction, newswire and ubercorpus texts, for VESUM dictionary and other related NLP tools for the Ukrainian language. There was no research done on the vectors by using Word2vec technique to create Ukrainian corpus, obtained from Wikipedia dump as the main source. The collection contains more than two hundred and sixty one million words. The dictionary of words (unique words) obtained from the corpus is more than seven hundred and nine thousand. The research using machine technology Word2vec is of great practical importance to computerise many areas of linguistic analysis. The open-source Python programming language was used to obtain word vectors with Word2vec techniques and to calculate the cosine proximity of the vectors. In order to do machine learning with Word2vec techniques on Python, a resource containing open source licensed software libraries called "Gensim" was used. Calculations regarding the cosine affinities of the obtained vectors were made using "Gensim" libraries. The research examining the clustering of the word vectors obtained from the Ukrainian corpus was made considering the two sub-branches of linguistics, semantics and morphology (language morphology). Firstly, it was investigated how accurately the vectors are obtained from the Ukrainian corpus and how the words represent the cluster they belong to. Secondly, it was investigated how word vectors are clustered and associated respectively to the morphological features of the suffixes of the Ukrainian language.

Аннотация: The use of project-based learning allows students to reduce their dependence on the teacher through their self-study and self-realization. The main advantage of using project-based learning is the updating of previously acquired knowledge and obtaining new ones. During the implementation of the project, students share responsibilities and roles among themselves and coordinate their actions towards achieving the final common goal. This study attempts to justify the use of project methods in the process of teaching foreign languages to students of the preparatory department of the Dnipro National University of Railway Transport named after Academician V. Lazaryan. Students show great interest when using the project methodology. In the course of project implementation, students acquire various skills that will be useful for them in their subsequent professional activities. This helps to motivate them to learn foreign languages. The difference between the project methodology and traditional teaching methods allows you to establish a partnership between the student and the teacher.

Аннотация: The article reveals the specificity of cognitive dissonance in courtroom discourse as one of the mechanisms of communicative influence on the recipients. Two types of the phenomenon in question are grounded: dissonance caused by real-life facts, which include the nature of the crime itself, and dissonance artificially created by the prosecutor and the defense lawyer to persuasively influence the jury and the judge. Common is the use of a narrative as a persuasive, arousing the associative activity of the recipients by contrasting the axiological features of the concepts; combining elements of rational and emotional communicative influence. Distinctive features include the communicative strategies and tactics used by speakers and the choice of concepts around which communicative influence is modeled. The speeches of the prosecutor and the defense lawyer represent a kind of battle of narratives and a contest of cognitive dissonance. The research results in the following findings: the narrative that not only causes cognitive dissonance but also implicitly presents a way to overcome psychological discomfort and harmonize elements of the cognitive structure in the minds of the recipients wins. The influential power of cognitive dissonance is determined by communicative strategies, tactics, moves, and the successful choice of linguistic means of their representation.

Аннотация: Any theory assumes the presence of its terminological apparatus - a language that is created to solve specific scientific problems and is designed to describe the relevant subject area; in criminalistics, it also serves as an effective means of thinking, should be highly specialised to reproduce the uniqueness of the subject of study, which actualises the study in this direction. Scientific approaches to the formation of the criminalistics’ language, its conceptual and terminological apparatus, through which this science describes its subject of study, were considered. It is emphasised that the development of science is determined primarily by the formation of its language as a system of general and individual concepts, which are reflected in certain terms, signs. It was stated that the criminalistics’ language is a complex, multilevel, holistic system, the elements of which are categories, concepts, terms, signs, symbols. Attention is drawn to the fact that during the development of criminalistics there is a continuous improvement of its language, clarification of definitions, enrichment of the terminological dictionary (thesaurus). It was noted that the current state of development of criminalistics, the formation of promising doctrines (theories) necessitated the introduction into its scientific apparatus of a large number of new concepts, terms, signs, through the use of various linguistic approaches, terminological elements, lexical units. The innovations concern not only the general theory of criminalistics, but also its main sections - techniques, tactics and methods. In this case, the criminalistics’ language, its conceptual and terminological apparatus must develop under certain criteria and conditions defined in both special and forensic literature. The rejection of traditional approaches to the definition of certain forensic concepts, the desire for innovation and unification always require special care and comprehensive justification.

Аннотация: The paper analysed the experiences in a field of teaching Criminal Law cycle subjects in English. The research was held at the National Aviation University (Kyiv, Ukraine) and involved 11 first-year students and 11 second-year students majoring in “Jurisprudence’’ who study full-time (teaching is conducted in English). The purpose of the paper was to study the formation of foreign language competence by students-lawyers at the same time as the formation of general legal competences in teaching a foreign language. At the same time, the students must operate the English terminology and know the theoretical approaches to problems in English-speaking countries. After establishing the appropriate psychological and pedagogical conditions, the number of students in the experimental group having the productive and creative levels of readiness to use English in their professional activity has significantly increased compared to the control group.

Аннотация: The article deals with the technology of saving and improving,students' health, which was developed in order to promote healthy lifestyle in universities. The paper describes an experiment on the introduction of the authors' technology. The experiment has been held in Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Kharkiv, Ukraine. The purpose of the study is to confirm and to verify experimentally the effectiveness of the authors' health saving technology at foreign language lessons with students of higher educational institutions. The technology consists of three stages: teachers-focused preparation star (preparation of teachers for conducting health saving activity at their lessons), students-focused motivation stage (providing students with some knowledge about the basics of human health and promoting healthy lifestyle in student environment), activity implementation stage (purposeful systematic work directed at saving and improving the students' health). The results of the experiment were compared by several indicators of Life Quality Index such as: Living Conditions and Lifestyle, Food Diet and Water Intake, Emotional Health, and Activity Level. Methods of mathematical statistics helped to prove the efficiency of the authors,health serving technology at foreign language lessons with university students. Thus the technology can be used by other teachers in higher school.
