Аннотация: Background and purpose To evaluate the effectiveness of the impact of a multi-component, combined training program on the level of physical fitness of athletes in cheerleading. Material and methods 32 athletes (girls aged 16-18) were examined. They were divided into two groups: the control group (CG) n=16, engaged in the training program of their sports unit, and the experimental group (EG) n=16, engaged in the developed training program, which was compiled on the basis of taking into account the specifics of the motor activity of cheerleading (performance high-intensity and interval work), sensitive periods of development of physical qualities of female athletes aged 16-18, set goals and objectives of the stage and period of preparation. Carefully selected means, methods and methods of using special exercises made it possible to purposefully develop physical qualities, increase the level of physical fitness, improve technical elements and teach the most complex ones, combining them into connections or combinations. Results The developed program for training athletes in cheerleading led to a statistically significant (p<0,05) improvement in the level of physical fitness in all studied indicators of the athletes of the control group, compared to the control group. Conclusion This study provides evidence that cheerleading as a sport has gained widespread popularity among youth in many countries around the world. This indicates that 16-18-year-old cheerleader athletes need to develop a training program in accordance with the specifics of competitive activity and the refereeing system to improve the level of development of both individual physical qualities and increase the level of physical fitness, as well as the athletes' acquisition of stability and quality of performance of technical elements of competitive programs. The effective impact of the proposed multicomponent and combined training program for cheerleader athletes in the annual training cycle (52 weeks) has been proven. The use of a multimodal approach to planning the training protocol is rational and effective, which can be recommended for use by cheerleading coaches.

Аннотация: Background: Pilates training has proven to be an effective method of mental and physical conditioning in rehabilitation, and it has become increasingly popular within the general fitness community. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of Pilates training practice on the respiratory system, joint mobility, and muscle strength of healthy middle-aged women with sedentary occupation. Methods: Thirty-two healthy women (age 45.4 ± 2.3 years, range 40–49 years; body mass 73.5 ± 1.5 kg; body height 1.70 ± 0.03 m) were recruited and randomised into experimental (n = 18) and control (n = 14) groups. The experimental group participated in a 12-week series of 1-hour Pilates workouts (beginner level) three times per week. Results: After intervention, the experimental group revealed significant positive changes in the vital capacity test (p = .05), Stange test (p = .001), and Gencha test (p = .001). Respiratory rate and body mass index improved slightly. All joint mobility and muscle strength variables of the partici-pants showed significant differences compared with the baseline data (p < .05). The most significant improvements were observed in variables of the shoulder girdle mobility during flexion (p = .003), abdominal strength (p = .041), and body strength endurance (p = .003 and .034). No significant changes were observed in the control group. Conclusions: The results confirmed that a 12-week series of 1-hour Pilates workouts three times per week is effective in improving parameters of the respiratory system, shoulder girdle, abdominal strength and endurance, and hip and shoulder joint mobility in healthy middle-aged women with a sedentary occupation.

Аннотация: Introduction: The article presents the results of the study of changes in the level of physical fitness of students of a humanitarian university and military academy cadets based on the choice of the CrossFit program in the process of physical education. Materials and Methods: The young men (n=92), aged 17-18 years, (two experimental and two control groups) took part in the study of the level of physical fitness. The study was conducted for 12 weeks. Experimental groups were engaged in the CrossFit program. The motivation for choosing the CrossFit program by the participants in the experiment (n=48) was determined using a specially designed questionnaire 'The Motives for Participating in Exercises Measure' on the example CrossFit. Results: For cadets, the results of sit-up and push-up have a significant increase (p<0.05). A more significant increase is observed in squats with kettlebell (7kg) and burpee (p<0.01, p<0.001). The results of students in sit-up, push-up, burpee have a significant increase (p<0.05). For participants in the experiment, the most common motives for choosing the CrossFit program for physical education classes were the following: 'to adjust the body shape, make me more courageous and athletic, increase muscle'; 'to increase my activity and vitality'; 'to improve my endurance, performance, reduce fatigue during physical loads'. For students, motives for health promotion are of higher priority than for cadets. Conclusions: The result of the motivated use of the CrossFit program for 12 weeks was a significant improvement in the physical condition of the students and cadets.

Аннотация: The purpose of this study is to advance a better insight into the history of Sokolstvo (Sokol movement) in the Ukraine within the territorial borders of the Russian Empire, and the variety of reasons for its origin and downfall. Slavic origin of Sokolstvo, the activity of supporters of Sokol gymnastics (SG) in the popularization of Sokol idea and, a gradual rapprochement of supporters of the two opposing areas of reforming Russia for further development began (“Slavophiles” and “Westerners”) contributed to the emergence and rapid development of the Sokol movement in the Ukrainian regions of Russia. In the 90s of the 19th century, SG began to be cultivated in the Sokol units of gymnastic societies, since 1907 independent institutions began to open. By World War I, Sokol gymnastic societies (SGS) in Ukraine were the largest group. SGS constantly trained instructors, but the majority of SG teachers were foreigners, Czech by nationality. SG was officially introduced into the military training of the army and the curricula of secondary schools and cadet corps. Sokol events were a significant part of the public life of many Ukrainian cities. Representatives of Ukrainian regional societies became members of the Board of the Union of the Russian Sokol, founded in 1910. The crisis of the Sokolstvo began in the years of the World War I due to the growth of xenophobic attitudes. During the years of Soviet power, the Sokol were accused of a bourgeois orientation, recognized as the “hotbed of counter-revolution” and banned in 1923.

Аннотация: The purpose of the study is to develop and test the method of evaluating the reaction to a moving object of combat athletes using computer technologies. Material and methods. Representatives of Taekwon-Do ITF with qualifications 4 Gup – 1 Dan (first stage of the study: n=32, 15.9±0.56 years) and representatives of Cossack Fight of medium qualification (second stage of the study: n=20, 18.0±0.17 years). At the first stage of the study was developed the computer program “Reaction RMO Pro” to assess the reaction to a moving object. The athlete performer is asked to complete a test exercise over three stages, where the complexity of the tasks gradually increases. At the second stage of the study the reliability, validity and reliability of the proposed methodology were determined. To activate the sensory and motor mechanisms of movement control, before testing, athletes were asked to perform simple exercises with tennis balls. The second measurement was taken three weeks later. Results. For preliminary testing, software modeling of various situations of test tasks was carried out. For a detailed characterization of the obtained data, a cluster analysis was carried out and three groups of athletes can be distinguished/ The first group (G1) included athletes (14.6±0.28 years), who had the highest reaction time and predominantly premature reactions. The second group (G2) included athletes (15.6±0.90 years) with an average reaction time and predominantly delayed reactions (Delayed: 49.03%). The third group (G3) included athletes (17.8±1.34 years) who had the lowest reaction time and predominantly premature reactions (Premature: 52.45%). Analysis of changes in reaction time at individual stages of the test showed that the best reaction time was noted at the second stage of the test, where the speed of the visual stimulus increases. The worst time was recorded in the first stage of the test. At the third stage, where interfering signals act, the reaction time is less than at the first stage, but longer than at the second. Analysis of the results of determining the direction of reactions to a moving object indicates that premature reactions predominate, both in the first measurement (52.75%) and in the second (51.92%). Conclusions. The highly qualified athletes have a more advanced mechanism for perceiving information and corresponding motor reactions. the method for determining reaction time to a moving object using the computer program “Reaction RMO Pro” is reliable, valid and reliable, as evidenced by the results of correlation analysis (r = 0.78), the absence of differences between the first and second measurements, both at individual stages of the test (p>0.05), and relative to the integral assessment of reaction time to a moving object (t=0.35, p>0.05), preservation of the dynamics of changes in reaction time at individual stages of the test and the predominant direction of premature reactions (first measurement 52.75%, second 51.92%).

Аннотация: Purpose: to substantiate the effectiveness of using TRX suspension loops exercises for the development of strength qualities in women 30-35 years old. Material and methods: the study was conducted during the year with a group of women 30-35 years old (10 people), engaged in health fitness. To determine the effectiveness of the use of exercises on TRX suspension loops for the development of strength qualities in women of 30-35 years old, analysis and generalization of literary sources, pedagogical observation, testing, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics were used. Results: the analysis of the results of the study showed that after the experiment, the average group indicators of the strength qualities of women 30-35 years old turned out to be significantly higher compared to the results of the initial testing, their increase was from 4% to 39%. Also, a comparative analysis of the results of women in the study group using the Student’s test showed reliably the best indicators of strength readiness in almost all tests (p [removed]0,05). Conclusions: the results obtained showed the effectiveness of using exercises on functional TRX loops for the development of strength qualities in women 30-35 years old. © 2021, Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture. Мета: обґрунтувати ефективність використання вправ на підвісних петлях TRX для розвитку силових якостей жінок 30-35 років. Матеріал і методи: дослідження проводилося протягом року з групою жінок 30-35 років (10 осіб), що займаються оздоровчим фітнесом. Для визначення ефективності використання вправ на підвісних петлях TRX для розвитку силових якостей жінок 30-35 років було використано аналіз та узагальнення літературних джерел, педагогічне спостереження, тестування, педагогічний експеримент, методи математичної статистики. Результати: аналіз результатів дослідження засвідчив, що після проведення експерименту середньогрупові показники силових якостей жінок 30-35 років виявилися значно вищими у порівнянні з результатами початкового тестування. Їх приріст склав від 4% до 33%. Також порівняльний аналіз результатів жінок досліджуваної групи з використанням критерію Стьюдента показав достовірно кращі показники силової підготовленості майже у всіх тестах (p≺0,05; 0,01), окрім тестів «Стрибок вгору з місця» та «Стрибок у довжину з місця», де результат також кращий, проте, він не є статистично достовірним (p≻0,05). Висновки: отримані результати засвідчили ефективність використання вправ на функціональних петлях TRX для розвитку силових якостей жінок 30-35 років.
